‘This is your final warning’ – Adom Kyei-Duah blasts NPP-media over political tag
General Overseer of the Believers Worship Centre, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, has issued a stern warning to some media houses reportedly affiliated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a video shared on X on June 15, 2026, Adom Kyei-Duah expressed his displeasure over what he described as disrespectful commentary directed at him.
According to him, some of these media houses have been mocking him and portraying him as a supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) following the Sports Minister’s recent visit to his church ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Expressing his frustration, Adom Kyei-Duah cautioned that such remarks should stop.
“It looks like some NPP stations are fond of making a mockery of me. This should be your last warning because you are no more NPP or NDC than I am. If you look at the Philadelphia Movement, you will see both NPP and NDC members here,” he said.
Adom Kyei-Duah further cautioned media houses and individuals who make negative remarks about him to desist from doing so and instead engage in political discussions responsibly.
“If you want to talk about politics, refrain from partisan politics and speak like a good citizen. I am a good citizen.
“Recently, I was watching a football match, and because you claim I am NPP and the NDC is in power, the Black Stars should lose their matches? What the hell is that? What is wrong with us?” he questioned.
He further stressed that he does not take instructions from any political party in the country.
The cleric also stated that he deserves the same level of respect accorded to other religious leaders.
“I want you to give me the maximum respect that is due me. Recently, when a member of the NDC insulted the chairman of the Pentecost Church, you saw the Chief of Staff apologising on her behalf.
“You people should sit down and allow others to insult me. I won’t say anything because I am a Ghanaian,” he added.
