I can never suffer broken-heart – Florence Obinim

Gospel musician and wife of Bishop Daniel Obinim, Florence Obinim, has made a strong statement amid the ongoing conversations surrounding her marriage.

In a video shared on TikTok on June 12, 2026, Florence Obinim, who was seen preaching to a congregation, stated that she would never suffer heartbreak if someone chose to leave her.

According to the gospel musician, rather than becoming heartbroken, she would feel pity for the other person.

She added that in a marriage or relationship, she would never beg or cry for forgiveness over something she did not do.

“If I love someone and the person leaves me, I don’t get heartbroken. Rather, I pity the person. What wrong have I done for you to pay me back that way?

“I would have done so many good things for you, so why should I beg and cry for forgiveness?” she said.

The gospel musician further noted that she does not believe in placing her heart entirely in human relationships, stressing that her heart belongs to God.

Florence Obinim added that nothing can break her heart and stated that people claiming she is going through heartbreak are mistaken.

“Loving me is not by words because my heart does not belong to a human being for me to suffer heartbreak. You must be unwell to tell me that you are heartbroken.

“Why would anyone laugh at me and say I have been heartbroken? The day I become heartbroken, then it means God has forsaken me,” she added.

Meanwhile, netizens have taken to social media, interpreting the gospel musician’s statement.

According to some individuals, Florence Obinim was referring to her husband, considering the controversies surrounding their marriage.
