A tricycle rider has been found dead at Sikorkor-Nanabanin, a farming community in the Okere District of the Eastern Region.
The Assembly Member for the Asaman-Nyamebekyere Electoral Area, Hon. Samuel Annor, who confirmed the incident, said he received information about the death this morning.
According to him, the body of the deceased is currently in the custody of the Ghana Police Service as investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death continue.

Reports indicate that the deceased was riding in the area this morning. Preliminary information suggests he was riding an unregistered tricycle, commonly known as “pragya,” from Koforidua.
Speaking on Bryt FM Midday News, Hon. Annor said the deceased is believed to be a young man in his early 20s and is reportedly from Koforidua.
He added that a similar incident occurred in the area about eight years ago.
The circumstances leading to the rider’s death remain unclear, and the police are expected to investigate the matter further.
