Conrad Nyarko, a member of the Eastern Regional Communications Team and Deputy Communications Officer for Abuakwa North, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Eastern Regional Deputy Communications Officer.
In a statement announcing his candidature, Mr. Nyarko said his decision is driven by his unwavering commitment to strengthening the party’s communication structures and advancing its vision across the Eastern Region.
He highlighted his years of dedicated service to the party, describing his political journey as one founded on loyalty, hard work, discipline, and a passion for grassroots development. According to him, he has actively contributed to the growth of the party at the branch level through consistent participation and support for party activities.
Mr. Nyarko noted that his appointment to the Eastern Regional Communications Team in 2018 provided him with extensive experience in political communication, media engagement, and promoting the party’s image. He added that serving as the Deputy Communications Officer for Abuakwa North has further enhanced his leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
He stated that his vision is to build a proactive, innovative, united, and responsive regional communications team capable of effectively engaging party members, countering misinformation, promoting the party’s achievements, and strengthening public confidence in its policies and programmes.
If elected, Mr. Nyarko pledged to strengthen communication structures from the branch to the regional level, support the Regional Communications Officer in implementing effective communication strategies, promote unity and professionalism within the communications team, and empower communicators across the region through capacity building.
He also promised to leverage both traditional and digital media platforms to project the party’s message effectively while remaining accessible, accountable, and dedicated to serving the interests of the party and its members.
Mr. Nyarko appealed to delegates and party members to support his candidature, stressing that his ambition is not about personal recognition but about contributing to the party’s collective success.
He concluded by calling for unity among party members, urging them to work together to strengthen the party’s voice and position it for future electoral victories.
“Together, let us communicate with purpose, lead with integrity, and win with unity,” he stated.
